We have recently undergone renovations and are very happy to share the new Carlingford Animal Hospital with you. Please take a moment to have a look around.
Reception
As you enter, please make your way to the reception desk where one of our nurses will take you and your pet’s details and then direct you to the waiting room.

Waiting Room
Whilst you wait to see Dr Marshall you may like to take a look at our marine aquarium, read a magazine or have a chat with other pet owners.

Marine Aquarium
Our marine aquarium is a very popular attraction in the waiting room. Whilst you wait, you may like to take a look at the beautiful corals and tropical fish!

Consulting Room
During consultation, Dr Marshall will perform a thorough examination of your pet and discuss any health issues that may be present.
Microscope
The microscope is used to examine bird droppings. Dr Marshall uses these results to assess if further tests are required. You can even see what Dr Marshall is looking at through the microscope by watching the monitor in the consulting room.

Treatment Table
The treatment table is used for surgical preparation and for minor surgical procedures.

Cages
This is where your dog or cat will stay during its hospital visit.

Bird Recovery Cage
Very ill birds or those recovering from surgical procedures are placed in the bird recovery cage. This specially designed cage is heated and provides the necessary warmth to promote fast recovery.

Xray Machine
Xrays are an invaluable diagnostic tool for dogs, cats and birds. This table is where xrays are taken.

Surgery
Surgical procedures on dogs and cats are performed in our recently renovated surgery.

Bird Surgery
Bird surgery is performed on a special heated table.
