For pigeons, Cank-R-Tabs have been developed to improve the flock’s overall resistance to canker by treating only those individual birds with canker and bypassing those free of canker. Cank-R-Tabs are recommended for racing, breeding, weanling, adolescent and young pigeons. They are also used in poultry flocks for the treatment of Giardia, Hexamita, and also those anaerobic bacteria associated with gizzard dysfunction, crop impaction and sour crop.
